We are an American-made company brought up in an era when you couldn’t be a stranger to hard work. We learned the value of listening and working with our customers in our early years and now we have solidified those values into the heart of our business. This, along with several decades of experience in the saw machine manufacturing world, has made us leaders in our industry. We know the right questions to ask to make sure you get the custom machine best suited to the needs of you and your task. All of our manufacturing is done at our shop in Cottage Grove, Oregon and then picked up, delivered, or shipped to our customers. We take great pride in what we do, so the goal of every person who works for Wright Machine is to provide you with the best products and services possible.

Our engineering and manufacturing facility located in Cottage Grove, Oregon uses state-of-the-art production processes to control every aspect of machine design, fabrication, machining, finishing, and assembly. Having a complete U.S. manufacturing capability under one roof allows us to respond quickly to your needs while giving us virtually absolute control over product quality.

We make and support everything here in the US, with a team of experienced factory technicians and support personnel ready to respond to your unique needs. Unlike large equipment manufacturers located overseas, we are able to design and produce custom machinery in a fraction of the time. With short lead times and a network of sales and support staff, you can expect to get your saw filing operation up and running quickly.

Our History

What started in the home of Jim and Betty Wright in 1976 has grown to be a leader in the saw sharpening equipment industry. The Wrights opened a machine shop during the late ‘80s, in the height of the machine tools industry’s boom. During that time they employed over 40 people who helped them offer over 70 different machines to their loyal customer base. After years of being privately owned and family operated, the Wrights sold the company to Burton Saw & Supply. Even though Burton Saw & Supply has been Wright’s parent company since 2004, Betty still makes it down to the shop twice a month to bring donuts to all of Wright’s employees.             

Today Wright Machine employs 25 people who continue to uphold the original tradition of American made equipment that Jim and Betty started their company with. At our shop in Cottage Grove we use state-of-the-art production processes to custom design, fabricate, machine, finish, and assemble all of our products. With all of our services and production being done in house, you can trust that we’ll guarantee the work we give to you.

Burton Saw has served the wood products industry since 1903, originally manufacturing saw blades and eventually expanding their product range to evolve with the industry.
